Out and about in Northcote
Well, we actually didn't move out or about from the one bar that we went to first.... Mainly due to the fact that we a) got a great table and b) the atmosphere was just right for the night we wanted to have - a catch up with old friends we hadn't seen for a while. The Salty Dog - 300 High Street Northcote was the venue, The Salty Dog was also the name of my drink of the evening (yes, it was just as good as I had imagined), although as they were doubles I had to stop at two and move on to wine!

So a great night was had by all and I will definitely be adding the Salty Dog to my list of places to go for a quiet few in Northcote.
Cooking
Not much in the fridge this week. I made World Famous (guacamole) last night but yet again forgot to take a picture of it - not to worry as this is a great excuse to keep making it! J has promised to cook up a 'bangers and mash extravaganza this week which should be lovely.
Up Next
Not sure, today I am going to a business lunch at Crown, I will report back if there is anything of any culinary interest - but don't hold yourbreath. Date Night this week is J's so I will wait and see what foodie delights he may have in store for me!
